
Whether you're a snack during the day or even a quick breakfast, smoothies are always a great way to satisfy a small hunger! However, they can sometimes become overwhelming. That's why we came up with the idea of adding a little matcha tea powder to our green smoothie.
MATCHA TEA GREEN SMOOTHIE
(SERVING: 1)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) kale, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup (250 ml) mango chunks
- Half of a very ripe banana
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) cucumber, cut into large pieces
- 1 tsp (5 ml) chia seeds
- 1 tsp (5 ml) matcha latte tea - Me First
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) silken tofu
- 3/4 cup (185 ml) coconut water or milk
Preparation
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
The smoothie may not be perfectly smooth. This depends on the power of the blender used.
It is possible to multiply the recipe and freeze part of it in ice cube molds.
To make this recipe, we used matcha latte tea . However, the recipe can also be made with any of our other matcha teas!
