
This matcha recipe isn't the first we've shared on the blog. However, it's our first matcha latte to incorporate pistachio cream! We're offering it hot here, but it can also be made iced!
MATCHA LATTE WITH PISTACHIO CREAM
(SERVING: 1)
Ingredients
- 2 tsp (10 ml) matcha latte tea - Me First
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) pistachio cream - Favuzzi
- 1/3 cup (85 ml) hot water (between 70˚C & 72˚C)
- Hot milk or hot plant-based drink, to taste
Preparation
In a bowl, using a whisk, mix the matcha latte , pistachio cream and hot water.
Pour into a cup or glass, taking care to pass the mixture through a sieve to remove all the small lumps.
Top up with hot milk and serve immediately.
* It is possible to make the recipe in an iced version by pouring the matcha preparation into a glass filled with ice cubes and topping up with cold milk.
