Maple Breakable Granola

MAPLE BREAKABLE GRANOLA

(SERVINGS: 4)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) nuts of your choice, coarsely chopped
  • ½ cup (125 ml) large flake oats
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) flax seeds
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) canola oil
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) maple syrup (here lavender maple syrup & chai tea)

 Preparation

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Add canola oil and maple syrup and mix again.

Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Press the mixture lightly with a spatula.

Bake for about forty minutes without stirring.

Allow to cool completely, then break into pieces.
