Taking care of yourself is incredibly important. I truly believe that taking care of your body isn't just about eating healthy. It's also important to be mindful of what you put into your body. on our body.
On Sunday afternoons, I love finding little DIY projects to add to my daily beauty routine. Whether you prefer a full-face or more natural look, taking care of your skin is essential. Personally, I try to use natural products as much as possible, like this recipe grapefruit exfoliant .
Why exfoliate your skin?
For a multitude of good reasons, but especially because exfoliation helps eliminate dead cells that accumulate on the surface of your epidermis. Removing the layer of dead cells helps refresh complexion and soften the skin. It is recommended to exfoliate your skin 2 to 3 times a week. Beyond that, the treatment risks weakening or damaging the skin.
Why grapefruit?
Beyond its cute and feminine color, grapefruit, like any citrus fruit, is excellent for the skin. Especially for deep cleansing pores. It's a fruit rich in vitamin C and a powerful antioxidant. Like Any citrus fruit, it is very effective against acne. Grapefruit is full of citric acid, which helps dry out pimples. What's even more great about citrus fruits is that all parts of these Fruits can be useful; juice, peel, zest, etc. So, no waste!
How to use it?
Facial skin is very fragile, so it needs to be exfoliated gently. We must pamper it to take good care of it! First, I recommend wetting your skin, so the movements will be less aggressive. for your face. Take a small amount of exfoliant with your fingertips and then make light circular movements on all areas of the face. Focus on the nose, forehead and chin, since these are the oiliest areas. Rinse with cold water and finish by applying moisturizer. Repeat 2 to 3 times a week.
