ZAATAR CARAMELIZED NUTS
(SERVING: 4)
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) zaatar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 cup (250 ml) nuts of your choice (I recommend cashews!)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a bowl, mix the olive oil, honey, zaatar and salt.
Add the nuts and mix until well coated.
Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for about ten minutes.
Allow to cool completely and break into pieces.
Eat as a snack or serve as a topping on soup or salad.
